SQL 2010 Management Studio 2010 Port Issue

Hello Everyone,

I have read he previous MySQL Help post. I am still receiving an error message. Assistance would be appreciated.

Error No. 1045
Access Denied for user ‘root’@‘localhost’

“If a personal firewall is running on your machine, please make sure you you have opened the TCP port 3306 for connections…” The rest is insignificant.

I followed the previous post’s instructions.

Firewall → Network Security policy → Global Rules → Add → fill in the following:
Action: Allow
Protocol: TCP
Direction: In
Description: Incoming Port

Source address: Any
Destination Address: Choose MAC address and fill in the found MAC/Physical address
Source Port: Any
Destination Port: 1723

Quoted from https://forums.comodo.com/firewall-help-cis/enable-port-for-mysql-t68692.0.html

I made the Destination Port: 3306 and know the MAC. I think the problem is with my Port Stealthing. I added the Trusted Zone: Loopback because I’m using ‘localport’ 127.0.0.1.

Have I done anything wrong? If not, can anyone please advise me?

Thank You,

Is there a matching application rule for the SQL 2010 program?
