Looks like I’m starting the first Spotify topic. :SMLR

So has anyone tried it? It’s a kind of online radio that uses a client application. You install it on your system (even I, being a clean freak, can install it - it’s just 1.4 MB when installed).

I have to say that I really like it. Very simple, you just search for music and you can create playlists.

Unfortunately you need an invitation to get the free version (which has some commercial breaks, but they seem to be rare, I’ve already listened to 7 songs with no break). However you can sign up and if you’re lucky you’ll get an invitation from Spotify. I got mine after two weeks or so.

How does it compare to Miro?

I have no idea, this is the first time I try something like this (except a short session with Joost). I like that it’s from Sweden though. :slight_smile:

Have you tried Screamer radio ? It’s portable ;D
