[Solved] What files/registry keys handle CIS configuration?

Hello,

I recently (today) decided to give Shadow Defender a shot and so far it is working very well (except a certain issue I have with it, unrelated though)

The thing is that I need to know the exact files and registry keys which handles CIS configuration and such in order to add them to the exclusion lists so that they stick when I reboot my system.

So far I’ve tried adding

C:\Program Files\COMODO\*
C:\ProgramData\Comodo Downloader\*
C:\ProgramData\Comodo\*
C:\Users\SanyaIV\AppData\Local\Comodo\*
C:\Users\SanyaIV\AppData\LocalLow\COMODO\*
C:\Users\SanyaIV\AppData\Roaming\Comodo\*
C:\Users\SanyaIV\Documents\SanyaIV - Proactive Security.cfgx

to the exclusions however changes to the configuration does not stick through a reboot.

So I wonder if anyone else can help me by telling me which files/folders/registry keys I need to add to the exclusion list in order to get it working?

Thank you,
Sanya IV Litvyak

Okay I found somewhat the files and keys responsible.

[code=Folders]
C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security*
C:\Users\SanyaIV\Documents\SanyaIV - Proactive Security.cfgx

[code=Registry Keys]
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Software\COMODO

Now I can make configurations in CIS like add files to trusted list, update database, edit HIPS/Firewall rules etc.

Updating still requires the use of “Commit All” or running it in Normal Mode during updating (I guess it’s possible to find all files and keys you need to add to the exclusions but that isn’t a feasible solution)
