[Solved] CD Freezes when opening FaceBook

Hi
The subject indicates the issue. It only happens with Facebook that CD freezes and all of my system is affected
After a minute or so the freezing state recovers itself and I can proceed
This only with FB
All other browsers I use like IE10 Chrome 26 and MFirefox 21 Latest updates do not give this problem
So it must be some issue with Comodo Dragon
Disabled all addons and tried one by one to find out if that coul be the trouble
Issue still persist
Cleared cache and DNS cache Cookies and history No avail

I run CD 26
OS win 7 32 bits
Security Eset smart security 6 Malwarebytes and emsisoft latest

There is no topic on the forum dealing with this issue.

Anybody else recognizes this?

Thanks
Pjottr
Mod edit: Added solved to the topic title, Captainsticks.

Hi Pjottr,
Two things I would try,

  1. Try disabling Do not allow websites to know where you came from (suppress HTTP referrer header), found under Privacy in the advanced settings.

  2. If the problem persists try disabling malware domain filtering (Comodo Secure DNS), also found under Privacy.
    Thanks.

Hello,

Please add this command line switch to Dragon’s desktop shortcut: --enable-logging --v=1.
You will find the logs at the following location %localappdata%\Comodo\Dragon\User Data\chrome_debug.txt.
Please attach the log file with the issue once it reproduces.

Note: The logs are recreated with each browser restart, so make sure you move the log to a safe location right after the issue reproduced.

Thank you.

Hi Captainsticks and George,
Appreciate your quick response
I will experiment with the 2 options first for one week. If after one week the problem persist I wil add
the enable logging to the shortcut and send a logfile.
Thanks

As promised here some feed back.
I have noticed, that since I disabled “Do not allow websites to know where you came from (suppress HTTP Referrer header” no longer freezes upon opening Facebook
As far as I am concerned, case closed

Regards
Pjottr
