Software section of the new registry cleaner dubious

Marked sections of the SOFTWARE section of the registry section when cleaned caused my Opera browser not to display pages correctly (formatted strangely) along with IRC wouldn’t connect ; and JING couldn’t start at all…it was closed/cancelled by windows.
I restored and reran the cleaner without selection the software section and things seemed to work ok.

I have read elsewhere of problems with internet issues after cleaning.

First of all please post this into BUG are or QA nor DEV will see it.

Second, can you please tell me what version are you talking about? The last one(.5) or previous(.4)?

Hi,

Please provide us with the following information:

  • The exact version of CSC installed on your system
  • Your Operating System (and whether it’s 32bit/64bit),
  • Security Software Installed
  • All log files of CSC, if you had logs enabled (The logs can be found in the installation folder of CSC: CRC.log, CDC.log, CPC.log and CSC.log)
