CPF, the hips component, slows downs my disk cleaner TE pro. This is not the latest or fastest of its kind, but it is good. It has a scrolling list of items that are being overwritten. The IE cache can take some time.

Now, defense+ causes a significant, visually noticeable (the scrolling list), slowdown of the deleting\overwriting process, even though TE Pro is a trusted application. Defense+ must be having a “strangle hold” on something. Unnecessarily in this case.

Does it slow down disk activity in other situations as well?
