If more data is needed I will provide it

Delete the .cav files located in C:\ProgramData\COMODO\Cis\signatures folder and try running the update again. Those errors in event viewer have nothing to do with your issue and will not cause any issues with the operation of CIS.
In that Folder C:\ProgramData\COMODO\Cis\signatures are no .cav files,in fact there are only two files: authroot.stl and whitelist.jason… I delete them but still the same Issue.
and the event viewer show this errors every time I try to update CIS(I watch the timeclock when I update and the event viewer shows this errors exactly at that time). Therefore it must have something to do with it(that’s what logic says to me) but anyway if you have some other fixing solution it would be great.
Then you should try to import the AV database by downloading the db with this link. Then when it finishes open the CIS main interface and click the ? icon and select about, in the about window you should see a link to import the anti-virus database. After clicking the link navigate to where you saved the db and select it.
Ty; but I already try that didnt fix it at all, even importing failed…
But now the CIS diagnostic found some non fixable errors, when I run it yesterday it didnt found any error.
It seems I have to reinstall it any way I upload the diag files/data so maybe the CIS staff member find a way to prevent this error for other users.
Well after my last post I have deinstall CIS and reinstall it; made a diagnostic scan after reinstall I thought all was good and I would not need to make the diag scan but it found non-fixable errors; also under advanced settings ->VirusScope also the recognizer_v11.0.0.6744.dll is deactivated(greyX) and I can not activate it.
My question is are the diag results maybe false positive?
The diagnostic report indicates issues with connecting to comodo file lookup service, your other security applications are probably interfering with CIS to update the AV or enable the recognizer. Run the manual update to see if it completes successfully, it should also download the recognizercryptolocker.dll if it is not already listed under virusscope settings.
After I rebooted my PC today the non-fixable errors are gone and I also was able to activate the recognizer.
Hope it will not change after a new reboot.
@Futuretech after the CIS-binary update; again Diagscan found again non-fixable errors this time it took 2-3 reboots on my both Computers till it showed no errors found.
maybe you Comodo guys let CSI auto ran the diag scan after a binary update so that other users would be aware of maybe possible found errors.
