Sigining 64 bit driver for windows 7 with UTN-USERFirst-Object cerificate

Hi,

As per Microsoft documentation to sign a driver, cross certification from Microsoft is needed. But in the list given in following page, UTN-USERFirst-Object is not included.

http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/driver/install/drvsign/crosscert.mspx#E3C

It seems from forum that comodo certificate doesn’t have support for signing drivers(last post on this forum about this was around 1 year back). Also it was mentioned that it would have support in future.

Does comodo code signing certificate still doesn’t have support to sign drivers? if so, by when it will have?

Thanks

From what i know;

You cannot sign kernel mode drivers;
I would await a response from one of the dev’s or email
support@comodo.com

Hope this helps

Jacob
