This indicator by default appears at the top right corner of the screen when running Comodo IS. It informs you that your computer is protected from any type of threats.

I think he means the welcome screen after logging in.

I would rather have a small yellow caution sign appear over comodo’s tray icon if any number of protection modules are turned off. I’m thinking it would look something like this:
