sending virus samples

I recently sent a sample (of what I thought to be new malware) to Avira and to Comodo.

The very next day Avira replied. The sample turned out to be a new trojan and they said it would be added to the next program update. Very informative.

Comodo on the other hand did not reply at all, so who knows what happened.

Some room for improvement for Comodo…

we have built the infrastructure for

1)feedback to our users as a result of our lab analysis (analysts analysing)
2)realtime file analyser in the cloud (fancy way of saying on the web )

we hope to bring these online as we bring CAV3 to public.
