Scheduled Scans Quit Working

I have had weekly scans scheduled for years and suddenly about 3 weeks ago they do not run and manual scans stop running. I believe this started with a Win 10 update and I can’t get them to start running again. I have scanned for viruses and malware with negative results. What could be the problem?
