Scanner stops at 5%

OS: Win 7 x64
CIS version: 5.12.256249.2599
Window shown below is unresponsive to user input and must be forced to close via task manager.

Note how it has spent over 3hrs scanning with only 5% scanned.

May be damaged or can not find.
Try it.
You can just check out.
Fix only 10 error free.

P.S. You can also scan the only a file ( manual)
If everything is normal.
You can try to exclude from scanning the entire folder … / nv_lh.inf … or just only a file.
Then see how it goes scan. Maybe even where the other problems are.

Comodo is no longer accepting bug reports for V 5.12. Thus, I will move this to the HELP section of the forum.

In addition, I will mention that many bugs have been fixed for V6 of CIS. You may consider updating to that version and seeing if that solves your issue. If you do, I would recommend updating by following the advice I provide here.

nvwgf2um.dll is part of nvidia’s driver suite.

When this happens the Comodo Internet Security Helper Service, cmdagent.exe, crashed.

See what happens when you set the service to always restart when it crashed in Services manager of Windows. In Services select Comodo Internet Security Helper Service → right click → Properties → Recovery → now set to always recover after a crash after 0 hours and 0 minutes.

Or add the dll to the exceptions of the AV.
