rundll32.exe

Hi,
I am running 3.12.111745.560 on XP SP3. I recently tried adding “%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe” to “My Own Safe Files” in D+ Common Tasks.
CIS said “rundll32.exe is already a safe file”. I was surprised since it is not listed in any policy and I have removed all user vendors from Trusted Software Vendors.
I then checked the help file under “My Own Safe Files” and it says “Defense+ allows you to define a personal safe list of files to complement the default Comodo safe list.” So is rundll32.exe on this “default Comodo safe list” and where can I see this list? Thanks

The “Safe list” is unavailable for viewing. As for rundll32.exe that has a pre-configured rule-set for it in Computer Security Policy. This is where the rules for your executables is stored.

Check out Defence+/Advanced/Computer Security Policy
