I am tethered via my blackberry bold using the tmobile network for internet access. When I sign onto Trust Connect I achieve the connection but my log has two entries which I’m not understanding:
Sat Sep 04 09:55:10 2010 ROUTE: route addition failed using CreateIpForwardEntry: One or more arguments are not correct. [status=160 if_index=14]
OK!
Sat Sep 04 09:55:11 2010 ROUTE: route addition failed using CreateIpForwardEntry: One or more arguments are not correct. [status=160 if_index=14]
OK!
Sat Sep 04 09:55:11 2010 Initialization Sequence Completed
Can anyone tell me the significance of these last two entries and what they might mean in relationship to my connection?
Hi,
What type of operation system and what OpenVPN client are you using? If you’ve copied client’s configuration file (.ovpn) manually, try to add the following lines to the end of this file:
route-method exe
route-delay 2
Note that you must run TrustConnectGUI as an administrator so that it will have access to create your routes.
Thanks for your response. My OS is Vista Home Premium. As far as which OpenVPN client I’m using I can’t say as my network experience is limited, and I’m not sure what it is you ask in regarding the same. Is there any way I can find out this infomation for you, and respond back, certainly I’m missing something here that I probably need to know, or attend to!? All I can tell you with any certainty is that I’m using the tmobile network for my sole ISP, and for which I’ve installed the Desktop Management software to manage my connection to their network, which is fairly limited also. Thoughts?
