[Resolved]Could not launch expression web 4

I could not launch expression web 4 on windows 7 x64 with cis.

When I click “expression web 4” icon, i can see “expression web 4” splash, but it shortly disappeared.
I opened “expression web 4” with Administrator Privilige, but same result.

Any helpful comment would be appreciated.

I’m unable to reproduce this using a default install of CIS, can you confirm the application works without CIS of if CIS is disabled? Otherwise, can you specify the settings you’re using for D+/firewall/sandbox/AV.

Thanks for the file. I ran the set-up with you configuration and still didn’t encounter any problems, are there are corresponding D+ log entries? Also, did you confirm whether the application runs if D+ etc is disabled?

The log files for Defence+ plus are found under Defence+/View Defence+ Events. Select the ‘More’ button once the log is open.

It’s possible to temporally disable parts of the suite either from the summary screen or by right clicking on the system tray icon. I was just curious if the application will open, if one or more of these components are disabled.

Did you have any problems when you installed .Netframework 4.0, as I noticed Windows fault reporter ran directly following the installation?

i’d studied for the glue you told - fierewall and D+, so I made new entry as trusted files for install folder of expression web 4, then installed and successfully loaded.
