  • We have received a handful of reports that mail is not being sent or received by random domains. We are investigating and will update in 15 minutes

  • Seems one of our filtering hosts has got stuck causing some email to be rerouted back into the delivery queue. We continue to investigate and will update again in 15 minutes.

  • Test emails are being delivered sporadically. Investigation is ongoing.

  • Functionality has been restored. Mail is spooled in the queue and will be delivered shortly.

  • The spooling queue has delivered all but a very few emails. If the domain is still expecting undelivered email it will either get delivered according to the original sending server’s retry schedule or the original sender will get a bounceback (NDR) and very probably retry sending the original email. Please do not be concerned that email has been ‘lost’.


Hey Michel,

I was experiencing this issue yesterday, only for 1 domain (the sender domain)… they seem to be affected again today. about 50% of their e-mails are not coming through. Anyone else having this issue, it’s the exact same symptoms as yesterday for me.

As per our offline thread - I’ll ask the guys to investigate and let you know what we find.


it seems there are still some random delivery delay issues. Over the last 6 hours the ASG team has been making improvements to one of our filtering clusters to remove these issues but we expect that the work will still take a few more hours completing at approximately 17:00 EST today (22:00 GMT).

During this work, to preserve all domain’s integrity, admins will not be able to make any changes to their domain settings.

Our efforts have proven only marginally successful so we are going to migrate the troublesome server to fresh hardware - this may take several hours during which the failover clusters will continue to take priority. Will advise as new information becomes available.
