If the site timesout and doesn’t load, then that’s likely not something Comodo is blocking but rather a connectivity issue. If Comodo was blocking it, there’d be a Webpage displayed to tell you it’s been blocked.
Are all of your browsers affected too? (IE, Firefox, etc.) When was the last time you rebooted? Are any other secure sites affected (Google, PayPal, your bank, etc.)?
Sorry about my last reply, it seems everything is working. I just jumped the gun a little bit when posting that. Everything is working and fine. Thank you very much.
There is a problem with Comodo Internet Security DNS for opened hot spots. Recently, the Deutsche Bahn started to provide internet access in their ICE. Unfortunately COMODO DNS blocking me to connect to this Hot spot. I don’t now if it is either because of Comodo or the provider it self. May be they don’t allow to use other than their DNS server (I mean the router on the train). Every time I have to disable Comodo DNS server from Tcp/IP settings.
Another problem is although I disable the DNS properties, Comodo keeps changing the DNS servers to its secure DNS. So I don’t know how you can solve this issue or what can I provide you that you can work on this issue. But just wanted to inform you about this problem. When Comodo DNS activated, the hot spot connection window (MSN | Outlook, Office, Skype, Bing, Breaking News, and Latest Videos) does not open and it is not possible to connect to that hot spot.
sorry for my late reply, I wasn’t available. The link that I gave above is a hot spot link for online registration. So if you are not using that hotspot for connection, you will be redirected to the msn web site. But if you are connected to the related wlan hotspot, in my case the hot spor wlan on the train, you will be redirected to the online registration portal. So you cannot see this problem, unless you came to Germany and get on an ICE train and try to connect to the hotspot using Comodo DNS Settings.
Lets come to the second issue. I solved that issue. Sien 2 weeks there is no change in the DNS settings. That was because i use multiple wlan spots (2xWork, Home and train) to connect internet. Since I used to face this connection problem, I kept to change the DNS settings, when I connect to the hotspot on the train. So when I come to the office and connect to the saved wlan of office, DNS setting are automatically changed to the Comodo DNS as I made no change in the TCP/IP settings of Wlan adapter when it is connected to the office wlan. It was interesting to me, since I thought the DNS settings are related to the wlan adapter not the network. But it wasn’t the case. So I changed the DNS settings to default in all networks that i use. Since than I don’t have this DNS change issue.
I hope I was able to clear all the questions and steps.
Hi ribozyme,
When you encounter this problem again, please run “nslookup DOMAIN_NAME” on cmd, where DOMAIN_NAME is the domain you find blocked and share console results.
I recently registered dogeminer.com, createfacebook.com and ศัลยกรรมเปลี่ยนชีวิต.com (as drops) and they appear to have been previously blacklisted by Comodo. I’m their new owner and whatever websites were on them are now gone. Could you please unblock them? Thanks!
Seems they have had objectionable contents in the past, at the moment text ends up showing e.g. :

Please clear it up as what site stands for now for us to take a fresh look.
They don’t have any developed content for them - they are just parked. It will take time to develop them. Can they be unblocked in the meantime? There is no objectionable content on them anymore.
