Hi guys, I need help. removing an email address I no longer need or use.
I was trying to create a new email address but later remembered that I had already used my limit. Removed it from email (Microsoft outlook ) but it is still showing in Comodo quarantine site. I even removed it from the ‘apps data’ area on computer (Comodo) but still on quarantine site.
It is annoying as I keep clicking it by mistake every time I check for new emails. Any ideas I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance. (:SAD)
CAS2.5 will bring the feature of removing unused accounts.
But this feature is not avail in previous CAS.
You could edit register to remove the unused accounts:
Close CAS first.
1. Start-> Run, enter in "regedit", you will have register editer opened.
2. Go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ComodoGroup\AntiSpam\Accounts" or "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Comodo\AntiSpam\Accounts". you will find the accounts shown in CAS.
3. Select the accounts you want to remove, and delete the key named by it.
4. Then close register editer, run CAS again.
CAUTION: Edit the registry lightly and incorrect editing of the registry could result in major system problems. You need pay attention and make sure what you are doing in it.
