Edit: I can see that this was in the Added/Rejected section of the wishlist; my mistake. I thought that since the other post
https://forums.comodo.com/wishlist-cis/bring-back-old-cis-behaviorfeatures-t111370.0.html
was still up, that it just hadn’t been made into a separate wish.
Please feel free to remove this thread moderator.
1. What actually happened or you saw:
COMODO removed the purge option in file list;
2. What you wanted to happen or see:
I want COMODO to put back the “purge” option in the file list
3. Why you think it is desirable:
This option was important to clear up the list; people want to remove redundant entries. I’d imagine that having redundant entries must have at least some performance impact. I know that COMODO does not auto-purge entries (perhaps in another wish this could be requested), and it’s really important for us to be able to do this. I managed to find multiple entries for the same file path (though they were different versions of a file and therefore had different hashes).
4. Any other information:
Perhaps if you added a checkbox to periodically auto-purge entries, this wouldn’t be as big of a problem. However, I would still like the ability to purge entries. Moreover, the purge pop-out window should be further enhanced by having a checkbox (auto-checked when purge is run) next to each item, so that we can select which items to purge.
I realize this wish was submitted here in an improper format:
https://forums.comodo.com/wishlist-cis/bring-back-old-cis-behaviorfeatures-t111370.0.html
I’m making this post to put it as a separate wish in the proper format.
To all other CIS users reading this - if you want this feature it is imperative that you respond to this topic.
