Purchasing Comodo CIS problems

To whom it may concern,

I have encountered a few problems with making a purchase of CIS.

First issue is that I can’t seem to select a one-time purchase. I’m NOT signing up for a recurring charge. Ever. One-time payment is all I’m willing to commit to.

Second issue is that Comodo is requiring a lot of personally detailed information. Comodo does NOT need it. Name, card details and email are all you need.

You did not require these things in years past. You do not need them now. I’m not interested in explanations or excuses. These are unacceptable problems. If you want any more of my money, you need to offer more options for purchase and ask for less info while doing so. My money, my rules.

These are things Comodo needs to adjust before I will buy the CIS product again. Please do so soon.

Thank You,
Zed

I completely agree with you. There are several programs I wanted to purchase via download. Why does the providers need my address, my date of birth, my “shoe size”?

That’s also been holding me back from purchasing Comodo. I have countless paid programs, and if I needed a subscription for all of them, I’d pay at least $400-$500 a month, if that was enough. Sure, software should be maintained, but paying for each update, real updates, not just “beautification,” is something I’d be happy to pay for. However, I could consider whether I need them or not at all anymore, because I use some programs too little or hardly at all anymore.

That way, I’ll stick with some outdated programs or replace them with others.
