Problems with installation (I need an offline installer)

Can someone point me in the direction of a Comodo Firewall 10 offline installer?

Basically this is my problem; one time I start my computer and get a message saying “COMODO Security Agent could not be started…”. After running the diagnostic tool it says it can’t find any errors.

So I decide to uninstall it, when I try uninstalling it I get a message saying “COMODO Endpoint Security Setup Wizard ended prematurely because of an error”. Says something about running Setup Wizard wizard… etc.

I download the installer and try to run the setup and it says “failed to initialize the installer. Please check your internet conection…etc” then at the bottom it says it’s Error: 12029. I’m here online so there’s nothing wrong with my internet.

From what I can gather, I either need something that can uninstall Comodo (like a Comodo FW removal tool) or I need an offline installer to try overwrite this install and try uninstalling that.

I’ve tried using the CIS installer but that just tells me that I need to remove the firewall first.

Topic: Comodo Internet Security v10.0.1.6223 Released

Offline Installer for CIS Premium: [Note: above offline installer has Antivirus with Comodo Firewall as optional component and does not come with Secure Shopping, GeekBuddy and Comodo Dragon browser. You will need to install them separately]

The direct link: Antivirus for Windows 10 | Antivirus Free Download for Windows 10

Try uninstall tool Comodo Forum and follw this guide Comodo Forum to proper uninstall. Worked like a charm for me…

This may help with the error message.

How do I Fix a 12029 Error?

Is “VirusScope” in FW the same as this not deactivatable “Antivirus” in this Installer or not? Because I don’t want Antivirus, because I have another installed.

VirusScope is comodo version of a behavior blocker which comes with CAV/CFW/CIS and can be disabled or set to only monitor contained applications. The offline installer comes with the Anti-Virus so you need to use the online cfw installer from the release topic.
