devilbat, that’s a good idea to submit a ticket on Comodo Support regarding the problem with downloading CAV updates. I’ll follow your suggestion.

My systems have just updated this evening to DB version 25773.

Here it also updated to 25773 and CIS says its up to date, however the most recent database is 25775. For some reason CIS is not receiving the latest database from the servers. I believe this maybe related to some issue in the compilation of the AV database files, because when manually downloading and importing the full database file from Comodo’s website, CIS gives an error saying “There is a bad version number in the file”.
Can someone from Comodo Staff comment on this?
Now this is weird.
I thought problem was solved with my earlier post about updating to b0025767.cav
However, I get the same error message about “File Not Found” when trying to update just now.
The file in the scanners folder is b0025774 now.

Just updated this morning to DB version 25775.
Here I am still at base 25773 and CIS says its up to date. Very strange indeed. Maybe this is somehow related to geo location? I noticed that people located in the United States and South America seem to be getting the AV updates with delay.

Still at database 25773, two days without update. Some people are receiving the databases at the right time while others are not. I suggest to those facing this problem to submit tickets at Comodo Support website, if more people submit tickets about this, Comodo will be aware of the problem.

It appears COMODO has fully resolved the issue with its CAV update servers. I successfully updated my computer twice with CAV updates on September 20th, and twice on September 21st. Very good!

I just noticed the same problem. I’m using Win10.
I believe a Win update for Defender occurred around the same time as when this started. I usually only run one antivirus at a time as they tend to conflict with each other or are at least messy competing with potential problems.
I turned on Defender and ran the update on Comodo and voila, the updates began installing.
Hope this helps someone else.
