PrivDog seems to be interfering with my ability to connect to some https sites. I was trying to figure out why some of the sites wouldn’t load (with Chromium Secure), and found that killing the Privdog service solved this. I’m not sure what information would be of most help, so I am just reporting it right now. Please let me know what information you need.

Thanks Chiron for your help. It would be nice if you send me PM with links to sites where you experienced troubles. We’ll test them with new version to be sure that this issues already fixed.

If enabled the Comodo forums (https) warns me that it’s not safe, but allows me to still visit. Sites like youtube (https) however, will now allow me to continue to view unless it is disabled. If you like I can try uninstalling and reinstalling, but I did not want to try that unless I was sure there was no information I have which may help you. Whatever happened on my system I don’t want happening on another. Would you like me to try reinstalling?

I found a bug in PrivDog. I have witnessed it over a period of time over a couple of versions of CIS (including recent test builds) and two or three version of PD 3.x alpha. I am on Windows 8.1.1 x64.
When the bug happens it will cause problems with Outlook 2013 and NPAPI Flash Player based video players (I tested with 15.0.0.207 beta and 15.0.0.189). When the bug hits it always effects Outlook 2013 and NPAPI based Flash Player video players. It happens on youtube as well as other video players. For the bug report I tested with youtube.
Closing down PD with Task Manager will not make the problem go away. One or more reboots are then required to fix it.
In Outlook 2013 emails from Yahoo mail are not downloaded; that stalls the process of checking accounts until I cancel. Other mail services checked by Outlook are not effected.
Browser behaviours when the bug happens:
- Opera12.17 x64 video does not play
- Internet Explorer page does not load. When clicking on the Options button the browser will freeze until closed with Task manager
- Firefox 33.0 plays video
- IceDragon 26.0.0.2 plays video
