PPTP vpn?

forgive me if this is a double post - I dont see my origional, but it may just be delayed.

I cannot get a MS PPTP VPN connection working. If I turn off Application Control Rules, then it works fine. I have allowed SVCHOST.EXE to any/any, but still, nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas?

OK, Ive narrowed it down. SVCHOST.EXE is being denied DNS (53). If I PPTP to the IP address, everything works OK.

I have allowed SVCHOST.EXE access to DNS in the Application Control Rules, but it is still being denied.

Any advice?
