I have open a couple of ‘manual files’ on DVD’s most recently one for a well know brand of monitor.
pdf documents.
and commodo starts throwing up lots and lots of Warnings about it accessing protected regitry keys, accessing protected com interfaces, DNS/RPC Client Access etc.

One item in particular AdobeARM.exe is run.
Most pdf’s dont do this
But I think it may be because there is a web link embedded in the file, but not 100%, anyone know if this is normal.

CIS treats any form of removable drive (DVD, Flash drive etc.) as unknown, since CIS cannot monitor a removable drive constantly. Since you are trying to open files from an unknown source CIS is going to sandbox them. The easiest way to prevent this is to copy the files to your hard drive and open them.
