PC crashes when being put in sleep mode (comodo firewall = guilty!)

This is the second machine this has been happening on.

When I put my computer to sleep, the monitor goes off, but it doesn’t shut off for another minute (or so). It doesn’t actually shut off - instead, the computer crashes. When booting up, windows reports that it has crashed.

All of this went away when I uninstalled Comodo Firewall, so it is definitely the culprit.

Running:
Windows 7 SP1 x64
Comodo Firewall 6.0.260739.2674
Windows is fully patched
All drivers are updated

If anyone has any idea of how to temporarily fix this (until Comodo comes out with a patch), please let me know!

What other security software are you running on these systems? What does the dump / crash files say is happening? Any details in the Event Logs?

Running Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 as well as Zemana AntiLogger Free (for keyboard encryption)

I will look into the logs to see if there is anything of value.

Thanks!

This could be a conflict between Comodo and Kaspersky. Can you please see what happens if you uninstall Kaspersky and then install Comodo Firewall?

Thanks.

If you disable System Watcher in KAV2013, does the system respond properly?
