Outlook problems in sending email

The only way I seem to be able to send mail from outlook is to disable the email scanner, ?, otherwise it just sits there reporting the below error message, any ideas

I have noticed that issue as well. It appears to have started after the last Microsoft Patch Tuesday. I noticed that Outlook was slower to load and to do a send/receive after loading Comodo last month, but this new issue is too much. I have disabled the email scanner, rebooted, and now Outlook 2007 works great again.

Late model computer with fully-patched XP.
