Comodo Internet Security 2020 v12.2.2.7036 was released back on April 21 with the promise that the update would be rolled out to users over the next few weeks. Well, here it is May 21 and still no notice of an update on my side.
Has this turned out to be yet another Comodo bum release and is again “being held”?
Also, what are best current alternatives to Comodo?

There are not free security suites that can match CIS, the closest are ZoneAlarm free FW+AV and Huorong Internet Security https://www.huorong.cn/
Otherwise you have to build a combo with different products.
Free AV like Kaspersky, Avast or Forticlient.
Hardening tools like SysHardener or Hard_Configuration.
Windows Firewall management like WFC, Simplewall or TinyWall
You will need to combine 2 or more Security Softwares for achieving a similar protection level to CIS.
For example: Kaspersky Security Cloud Free, or Bitdefender Free, or Sophos Free or Forticlient Free as AV + VoodooShield Free or NVT OS Armor, or Sandboxie (which is now Freeware and open source).
For Firewall, there is WFC Firewall Control from Malwarebytes.
