On Access Scan blocks VNC

CAV has started to flag my VNC server during “On Access” scanning and quarentines it. I had to stop all “On Access” scanning. How do I let my VNC keep running? CAV flags RemoteAdmin.Win32.winVNC.4 and stops keeps it from running.

There is an ignore list in the settings area, please add the files to the ignore list so they will not be scanned.

Thanks. That seems to work to let VNC continue to load. Do I need to worry that my copy of VNC has been replaced with one that contains some malware? How do I check that out? I would think that if my copy of VNC had been submitted and cleared it shouldn’t be flagged by the “On Access” scan.
