Norton removal

Before I upgraded to Comodo and Avira, I had Norton Internet Security and Norton System Works Premier. I found Norton difficult to uninstall totally. Here are links I found to help with the process:

The GEAR ASPI driver could potentially interfere with CD/DVD burning or ripping with other drivers. I used the manual method of removal, but I now see that there is an executable for this at:

Hope this saves time and frustration for others.

Thank you for your contributions, and I can relate to that with a simpler way to totally uninstall Norton products. Heres the link: http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039

Just click on your product and read the instructions until you see the download the latest Norton Removal Tool, from Symantec.
