I’m currently using Norton Internet Security and find it lacking in a variety of ways. CIS Pro 7 sounds swell from all the reviews, but before I dive in (even into the free trial), I’d like to read through any available documentation describing its behavior, user interface, configuration options (particularly program control, exception management, VPN support, etc.), and the like. Some of my big dissatisfactions with my current security suite are the non-intuitive user interface, lack of guidance (Symantec’s help is pretty much useless), and incomplete program control options. Hopefully, CIS will prove to be a serious improvement.
Can anyone guide me to comprehensive documentation for CIS so I can read it and be reasonably prepared before jumping in head first?
