New features request for CIS2025

Greetings,

Does COMODO plans to add to CIS2025 an AI feature for: 1) unknown threat detection (not signature-based) and; 2) packet detection and analysis? Also, updating the types of protocols that can be filtered by the firewall would be welcome. ESET seems to be ahead of CIS2025.

Hoping Xcitium XDR won’t be the only piece of software getting 2025 standard’s security. CIS2025 still stands out for its sandbox feature.

True, I believe that several security companies are ahead of COMODO because they already use AI. What I’m wondering is if CIS 2026 will have changes, because so far it’s only been in the product’s appearance.

Let’s wait and see.

  1. Containment not enough?
  2. There is protocol analysis in the firewall settings.
…this option means Comodo Firewall checks that every packet…

  3. Which protocol filtering is not working? You can configure many protocols: ICMP, IGMP, GGP, TCP, CBT, EGP, UDP, HMP, RDP, etc.

There’s a clear answer regarding AI that has recently made me a convinced user of comodo again. You’ll find either nothing about comodo cis on the internet, or mostly negative reviews, even condemnation of this botched job (I’ve read it all, but never like that about any other software). AI, however, assesses comodo completely differently. Surely the countless AIs are also aware of the devastating judgments about comodo. But this is never mentioned or considered. Here’s a conclusion:

In summary:

  • ESET: Better for most users who prefer strong, balanced, and easy-to-manage protection with minimal system impact.
  • Comodo CIS: Better for users who want deeper control, prefer sandboxing, and don’t mind a more complex security solution with aggressive protection measures…rather two different philosophies in terms of how security is approached.
Both are capable of offering strong protection, but ESET tends to be better for ease of use, while Comodo offers advanced features for those comfortable with more hands-on management of security.

Another conclusion:

Overall Protection
Independent comparisons show both suites perform similarly in core malware detection, but ESET tends to receive higher user satisfaction for its lightweight operation and dedicated ransomware safeguards, while Comodo stands out for its broader suite of privacy‑focused utilities and built‑in VPN.

Have a brother who’s an engineer and uses ai. Number of times ai has been 100% wrong. So disagree vehemently with anyone who states that anti-malware must have AI or be left in the dust. Besides that Comodo is a different suite with all of it’s detection features, vs most using signature based. Know which one is way more robust and has longevity even for OS’s long not supported by security updates.

  • plus one Agree, with @prodex 's AI queries and general conclusion.

This has also been confirmed by AIs in their extensive reports/analyses.

Just a side note: One should be skeptical, especially of political, ideological, psychological, or health-related “analyses.” I once tested this in the field of psychology. The analyses and advice weren’t even that bad.

Hi All,

We have taken this feature request to the team notice.
We will keep you posted.

Thanks
