New 64-bit CCE User questions

Hello, I have used the 32-bit CIS & CCE for years, and have just recently upgraded to the 64-bit platform on my system. When I reinstalled (if that’s what you want to call it) the Killswitch program on the CCE Program, I noticed that my memory was listed as only 4.06+/- when I have 16384 MB Installed. And my processor is an AMD FX 8150 with Eight Cores, so shouldn’t there be 8 separate columns to represent each core?

I apologize for the ignorance towards this matter but, the only stupid question is the question that is not asked. Plus Benjamin Franklin said it correctly when he had stated; “We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.”

Hi Roger,
I am using Windows 7 64 bit.

When viewing the performance graphs (either in the main killswitch screen or in SYSTEM INFORMATION), the Physical Memory graph seems to display the “usage of physical system memory”, but it does not seem to graph this usage relative to the total physical memory capacity. To see your memory capacity, you have to look in SYSTEM INFORMATION, MEMORY tab, and look at “Total” under the “Physical Memory” heading. I am not sure why the graphs do not display memory usage relative to memory capacity (which seems to be a more intuitive way to display the info). I am not sure if this is a bug or if it was intended. Maybe someone with more tech knowledge can provide the answer.

Try this: from the Killswitch menu bar, select VIEW, and the select SYSTEM INFORMATION. Now select the “CPU” Tab. At the bottom of the window, select “Show one graph per CPU”. That should show each core on a separate graph. This allows you see the activity of each core, but only on the CPU tab. The performance graphs in the SUMMARY tab and in the main Killswitch window will always show as one CPU (at least as far as I know).

Ben Franklin said a lot of great things. I like this quote by him:
“A country man between two lawyers, is like a fish between two cats.”
Even back in his day, lawyers were known for their treachery!

Thank you much.

Hopefully the memory thing will be added. I did notice that my memory usage had dropped to around 3.5-ish this time around.

Thanks for reply again.
