Need decent Macromedia Projector Exe to SWF file converter

So far, all the online downloadable converters I tried to convert Macromedia Projector exe files to SWF files do not work.

Oh, sure, it will make an SWF file. But once you try to play it on a web broswer, it won’t play.

But if you try a bonafide SWF file, it plays ok.

What gives?

My macromedia projector exe file’s got animation, audio, and codes.

Is there a converter that converts Macromedia Director DIR files to SWF files?

How about Macromedia DIR files that have been published into Projector exe files into SWF files converter?
