CWAF for Cpanel/WHM is currently broke (Error 500) there’s a separate thread on this is a hack fix but I don’t want to apply any workarounds as this should be fixed by Comodo.
My question is more general. I run Configserver Firewall + LFD. I host a few Wordpress sites and they are running argueably the best security plugin. At this point I’m wondering how necessary CWAF is? I’m sure it “helps” but maybe the actual significance of any benefits isn’t going to outweigh adding an additional degree of complexity to the server config by installing CWAF especially if there are going to be issues like this?
