Manual Lookup does not work when automatic Enable Cloud Lookup is OFF [M2155]

A. THE BUG/ISSUE (Varies from issue to issue)
Can you reproduce the problem & if so how reliably?:
Always.
If you can, exact steps to reproduce. If not, exactly what you did & what happened:
1: Turn OFF: Settings → File Rating → File Rating Settings → Enable Cloud Lookup
2: Select all files in the Settings → File Rating → File List, and click Remove.
3: Use any program (e.g. Foobar2000 1.3.14 - https://www.foobar2000.org/) that with “enable cloud lookup: OFF” is referred to as “unrecognized”, but with “enable cloud lookup: ON” is recognized as “trusted”.
4: Select the unrecognized file in Settings → File Rating → File List (in my case the foobar2000.exe) and click Lookup button.
One or two sentences explaining what actually happened:
The file is still “unrecognized”.
One or two sentences explaining what you expected to happen:
The manual Lookup should work even with “enable cloud lookup: OFF”.

Can replicate though it might be by design but I have submitted the report anyways. Thanks for the report. Moving to Verified.

In CIS8 it works as I expect. This is very useful for the user who wants to have full control over which files will be checked in the cloud.

Please check again with Comodo Internet Security v10.0.1.6209 thanks.

The issue still exists. But I noticed an extra strange behaviors in this topic. More details I will describe later, when I analyze more closely.

Looks fixed to me with CIS version 10.0.1.6254 Can you confirm?

Yes, I confirm. It works as it should now :-TU

Thanks

This problem came back with ver. 10.0.2.6396 :frowning:

Yes I can confirm regression. I re-opened the bug in the tracker.

Should be fixed please check with Comodo Internet Security v10.1.0.6460 - BETA
