Understanding fully the concept of “layered defense”, still there is a point of diminishing returns.

With the new (ver 17.304) “Scan My System” are CAV and BOClean unnecessary? Is there any use in keeping these separate programs? Or do they provide a layer of defense still not included in CFW3?
