To ensure the installer/updater policy has effect, please do the following:
[ol]- Ensure that ‘automatically detect installers/updaters’ is ticked under Advanced Settings ~ Security ~ Defense plus ~ Behavior Blocker ~ Settings and ‘automatically trust files’ are ticked under Advanced Settings ~ Security ~ File Rating ~ Settings
- Ensure that the rule that makes your file an installer/updater is at the top of the HIPS rules in Advanced Settings ~ Security ~ Defense plus ~ HIPS
- It is also worth removing your file from Advanced Settings ~ Security ~ File Rating ~ trusted or unrecognised files, if there is a copy there[/ol]
