Hey everyone

I’m looking for a good laptop and Long lasting

The Must:
At Least 4GB+ OF RAM
At Least 250GB OF Hard Drive Space
At Least 3 Hours Of Battery Time(2:30 Hours is ok)
Under 1,000$

I Would Hope AMD Processor Instead Of Intel
But If It Exceeds Two or more of the “The Must”
Then i’ll go with that

I have got this laptop since a month ago because i moved to another city to work:
Asus F5 SL Intel Core 2 Duo T5750, 15.4", 802.11b/g wireless, 320HD and 4GB RAM and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470. When i owned it had Vista Home Premium but i downgraded it to XP ;D
I know it isn’t top notch but i run NFS iV,V Starcraft, Warcraft 3, and Imperivm Anthology(all very old games) and Office 07(because i’am high school teacher) and i’m very happy with it. I paid 700 euros

i wanna buy a new laptop too.
should i buy a notebook or a netbook (mini laptop)

i use my laptop mainly for:

  1. browsing the internet
  2. email
  3. office work (excell/word/pdf document)
  4. play snes (PSone too, but rarely,my current laptop graphic card sucks) game
  5. watching dvd

reason to buy notebook:

  1. higher spec (CPU/HDD)

reason not to buy:

  1. heavier
  2. more expensive

reason to buy netbook:

  1. cheaper
  2. less heavy

reason not to buy:

  1. lower spec

so what do you guys think? 88)
oh and of course there’s a small notebook (like sony-vaio TX/TX series) to cover thema ll, but it’s pretty expensive 88)

Hmmm…I think most of us would just say to smash all of your current computers, and never use one again, but I doubt you’ll listen. 88) Just get a Notebook. 88) Unless you, an alien, are so very weak you can’t carry it.
