u can’t install it if comodo is installed so delete the regkey uninstall comodo and all is ok.

I still use version 7. until Kaspersky discontinuted.
Because in new version a nessarry menu was hide and hard to find.

It’s good for most user that’s don’t like to see a lot of alphabet.
But not for me.

Hotfix for KAV/KIS 2010 (9.0.0.459). The file klif.sys contains the following changes:

Several memory leak fixes
Broken product GUI

if u got comodo installed export then delete the regkey :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\COMODO Internet Security]

so u can install kaspersky without uninstalling comodo.

import the comodo regkey after kaspersky is installed.

do not run both AV at the same time on your system, u can get bsod by using 2 AV active protection,

same for the FW with KIS and comodo FW.

The name 2010 simple not make any sense.

Been trying to update my old mans KIS 2009 to 2010 today but it wouldnt accept the activation code or keyfile. Anyway after doing a lot of searching and asking i had to open a personal cabinet! Funny thing is after doing this it says the code is for KIS version 7 which hes never had and the cd says in nice big shiny silver “Kaspersky Internet Security 2009”. Awaiting an answer from support.

So Comodo arent the only ones whos updates don`t allways go according to plan

It installed just fine using my 2009 key. Uninstalled Avira,OA and Sandboxie. Now just using KIS 2010. Running great so far. Got a 310/340 on the CLT test.

Know the best thing. All settings on high even heuristics and NO FALSE POSITIVES. None. CIS needs to seriously address there FP’s. Thats the main reason I dumped CIS.

I’ve tried it for couple of days,but…I’m staying with CIS :-TU
p.s.I have completely legal key for 1 year.I can exchange it for a fifa 09 original key :))

the sandbox doesnt work on vista 64bit.
