Just a thought: Compressed files won't get infected?

Supposed we have some installer files (for Firefox, CFP, Avast, etc) with EXE extention, then we create a compressed file (7z, Tar, etc) complete with password, then we put those files inside.

If a virus or malware (which prefer EXE files) attack the computer, will the compressed files mentioned above be infected with the virus?

Same question with other extention (doc, pdf, jpg, etc)…

What do you think?

Depending on the severity of the virus, I wouldn’t be surprised if encrypted compressed files can be infected as well.

Anything can happen on thee Machine…

So, Your question… is simple…
yes it “can” get infected…
but it is pretty hard to do…
