Items in sandbox can still access internet (?!)

I rarely explicitly use the sandbox, but today just for testing I ran amazon’s kindle app inside the sandbox and watched the ip traffic in peerblock. The kindle app was still able to access the internet through the sandbox.

Clearly browsers and email apps need internet access to function, but is there a way to prevent some apps from accessing the internet when running in the sandbox?

The sandbox is a virtual environment for the app running inside it. Be assured, no harm can come to your system while it is running inside the sandbox.

they added this feature in the last beta https://forums.comodo.com/beta-corner-ccav/comodo-cloud-antivirus-beta-v111416296492-t119266.0.html

otherwise you have to use a default deny firewall (block everything unless whitelisted)

OK, cool, I can wait for the official release.

I will really miss Comodo when I move to Linux…
