Is this site related to Comodo?

It is probably some guy in India who didn’t make it through college (or didn’t go to one). 88)

R u kidding?

No? ???

Then I suppose, this falls into ‘Forum Policy Violation’, which is not unanticipated from a ‘veteran’ of Comodo Forum.

Offences based on age, sex, race, location, political affiliation, religion, cultural background or any other criteria. Opinions are welcome, but they may not escalate into flaming and rudeness against Comodo, its staff, other forum members or any other party. Comodo is truly global and so are its forum members. Cultures, opinions and traditions differ, and Comodo forums are a place for cooperation, not clashes. We do not allow hate speech. In the same vein, we do not permit the usage of explicit language on these forums and do not allow the posting or solicitation of sexually explicit material.

I wasnt aware that you were a moderator?

I think his comment was perfectly fine. It doesnt take a genius to figure out what he was saying or implying.

I’m glad to see my fame has spread. 88)

For your info, though, I wasn’t trying to offend Indians. I could have chosen Nigeria (famous for their “businessmen”) or China. Or the USA.

India just came to mind sooner, because that is where many companies, including my friend’s, are outsourcing things. And that was kind of on my mind. :stuck_out_tongue:

Fame and notoriety aren’t the same thing Jeremy.

Just because you weren't trying to offend doesn't mean you haven't. Your point could have been made just as effectively by saying "It is probably some guy who didn't make it through college (or didn't go to one)."

Please remember the forums T&C. Consider this a Warning Jeremy (N.B. “Warning” with a capital W) - I think you know what comes next.

This topic will be locked, but I’m not going to move it to the violation board. IMHO, a public warning left for all to see (and hopefully contemplate) is justified.

Ewen

P.S. Apologies to any who have taken offense.
