iPad and iPhone recognition of email signing certificates

Hi

I have recently set up e-mail signing certificates and these are working fine for users receiving e-mails on PC’s

However, as far as receiving signed e-mails on Apple iPads and iPhones are concerned, the certificates might just as well not be there.

If anyone could assist me here, I would be most grateful

So long as you’re using a current version of iOS (after v5), S/MIME should be available. However, S/MIME is under “advanced” settings for the mail account and is disabled by default (I believe) so the little checkmark on a signed piece of mail is not present until “S/MIME” is enabled. (It’s silly that it’s not on by default)
