I found a installation bug under case sensitive format hard drive.
The CAVM installer set up Agent.app and other resources into /Library/Application\ Support/Comodo/Antivirus/,
but the CAVM program expects “AntiVirus” directory (not “Antivirus”).
So the daemon fails to run and also fails to recover the problem.
Please check its directory path name.
I could confirm to work good
by renaming it as follows after installing CAVM.
rename dir:
/Library/Application\ Support/Comodo/Antivirus/
to
/Library/Application\ Support/Comodo/AntiVirus/
