Thank you for reporting.
We have checked and found no issues on installing CIS/CFW/CAV.
However could you please share us the screenshot of host file located in the location C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc.

After a few restarts I was able install firewall but issue (Sometimes internet doesn't work with Firewall enabled. And not able to disable firewall from system tray icon - #3 by 5Lqep) still persists

Hi 5Lqep,

Could you please share us the screenshot of host file located in the location C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc ? as host file might have point to any other server so it may cause internet issue.

Thank you for providing requested screenshot.
From the above screenshot we could see that host file points to 127.0.0.1 kubernetes.docker.internal. so kindly put # to the server(127.0.0.1) & save the host file. Then install CIS/CFW it should install without any issue.
