Improved Usability with Clipboard Based Protection

1. What actually happened or you saw:

Have to enter CCAV settings to temporary disable Clipboard Protection

2. What you wanted to happen or see:

Comodo could add this option to the CCAV icon in the taskbar,

Enable Sandboxed applications to access the “desktop” clipboard, for 1 Min
Enable Sandboxed applications to access the “desktop” clipboard, for 5 Min
Enable Sandboxed applications to access the “desktop” clipboard, permanently
Remove access for sandboxed applications to read the Clipboard.

or

Disable the Clipboard Protection for 1 Min
Disable the Clipboard Protection for 5 Min
Disable the Clipboard Protection permanently.
Enable Clipboard Protection.

3. Why you think it is desirable:

4. Any other information, screenshots etc:
1 pic

Feel free to comment. ideas, word phrase change etc

Disable protection clipboard not safe, in one minute hack capture and send data (passwords, username…), but is one option interesting.

I Agree.

!ot!
I would like that CCAV have Block incoming/outgoing traffic Enabled (Checked by default)
Since Sandboxed apps can read your files unless the location have been added to the Protected Files/Folders, and some user keep their sensitive files in different location (outside the Protected areas).

Fully agree on that. It’s only after some use and delving into it, that you realise the vulnerabilities of some settings. This should be a Default setting without a doubt, as too many users tend to go with an ‘install and forget’ approach these days :-[

Thanks for your vote/comment. :-TU

[X] Do not virtualize access to the specified folders. are also enabled by default.
Dont think the novice user will use/know about this feature.
“If they need it, then they have the knowledge to turn it on.” (hopefully)
