Sometimes the images are not appearing on the buttons at the top:
Did you do a clean or an upgrade install? What version are you using?
3.9.81003.508, upgrade. Installation finished, but Windows locked up afterwards and had to hard reboot. Tried diagnostics, but they reported it was fine.

Try uninstalling CIS and reinstalling it. Export your configuration before uninstalling so you can import them after the install. Store your configuration in a folder that is not part of the Comodo Internet Security installation folder.
