Hi Jorge Sacasonapa,

The new IceDragon v57 is based on the Mozilla v57 that doesn’t accept the use of older extensions, only the new WebExtensions. The language pack was an extension that we implemented in the previous versions but could not be migrated to the V57 yet. The solution for now is to change the language to English by doing this:

In the address bar, type about:config and press Enter.

The about:config “This might void your warranty!” warning page may appear. Click “I accept the risk!” to continue to the about:config page.

In the Search field, type intl.locale.matchOS.
If the intl.locale.matchOS preference has a value of true, double-click it to toggle its value to false.
Clear the Search field, and type general.useragent.locale.
Double-click the general.useragent.locale preference and enter the code of the language you want to use - for English it’s En-GB. After this restart your browser and it will be set to English. Sorry for the inconvenience and we are working on bringing back this feature as soon as possible.

Updated: Simpler version: Navigate to “about:addons”, click on “Languages” (last section on the left menu) and click on the Disable button for the active language and restart the browser.

Thank you very much,
Andreea
