Installed Ice Dragon yesterday and everything was working fine. Went to load it up today and I’m greeted by this pop-up box every time now:

Any ideas what could be the problem and how to fix it? I haven’t installed or changed anything since I installed CID so not sure what could have caused this.

Try to download and install the portable version.
Are you an administrator?

Downloaded from the Comodo website itself.
Worked fine the first 2 days I had it, then all of a sudden, nothing.
I am the administrator and have a Core i7 laptop with 8GB RAM, 2GB graphics, solid state hard drive so I doubt the laptop is the problem!

I do not think it’s to do with your laptop.
Design your portable. No need to install the system.

Well then you can remove all traces (Folders) (necessarily profile) from the old IceDragon and install again. if all ok with portable.
And more. Use as long as the default theme. Look if be all ok.

I have uninstalled and re-installed IceDragon and have made sure to install the portable version. I have rebooted the laptop and every time I try to run IceDragon it says that it is already running but may not be responding and to either close the running version or reboot. I can’t find it running in Task Manager and have rebooted but keep getting the same message. If I can’t get it working now then I’m just gonna uninstall it and go back to Firefox, which is a shame as it was working really well for me when I first installed it and would actually prefer it to Firefox.
First of all, your system - Check the utilities.
HitmanPro. Malwarebytes. TDSSKiller.

The label IceDragon, which is located in your "desktop"
Paste the following command in the string "Object":
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /c taskkill.exe /f /t /im icedragon.exe &cls &start icedragon
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /c taskkill.exe /f /t /im firefox.exe &cls &start firefox
Now it is enough to click on the shortcut and Icedragon will be unloaded from the memory and loaded again.

If with system everything is normal. Not everything is removed from the old version CID. (I so think).

Where you established the portable version?
I would advise it to establish to you on the section C:\ ( When installing select the C: )
Where there are main folders Program Files and and etc..
